Our business began in 1941 when Millard Young Sr. moved his family to Piedmont, Alabama and founded a private-brand service station and farm fuel supply business. Eventually the business was passed down to Millard Young Jr. He began guiding his family’s business in 1969, and became CEO in 2002. During this time Young Oil Inc. accumulated ten stores. In Millard Jr. ‘s later years working the family business, his sons Brian and Vernon and his daughters Pam and Karen, helped him run the business. Millard Jr. served as CEO until 2020. Today the company is still led by Millard Jr’s own children.
Young Oil Inc. now owns and operates eleven stores and counting. Our company also supplies many local farm businesses, and other convenience stores with the fuel they need. Several of our Grub Mart locations serve delicious hot food such as Hunts Brothers Pizza, bbq sandwiches, hot dogs, doughnuts, cookies, and popcorn. Many of our locations also have free air to put in your tires, 99 cent bags of ice and even ATMs.
